2023 Kawasaki Jet Ski Lineup

Let’s face it, the 2022 Kawasaki jet skis were carried over for the 2023 model year with minimal changes. All we got is some new color schemes, higher price tags, and a rebranded SX-R 1500, which was labeled the SX-R 160.

The only full-size naturally-aspirated Kawasaki jet ski, the popular Ultra LX, was discontinued. However, there are rumors that this model will return completely renewed for next season.

Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty and talk about the 2023 Kawasaki jet ski lineup in detail!

2023 Kawasaki STX 160

Each of these models shares its 1498cc, 4-cylinder engine with the SX-R 160 and are built on a stable, 3-passenger runabout hull. The predecessor of these machines was the deservedly-popular STX-15F.

Unlike competitor mid-sized Sea-Doos and WaveRunners, the STX 160 series lacks an electric brake and reverse system. They are only equipped with a regular mechanical reverse, which can’t be used for deceleration.

Conclusion

To the greatest regret of many Kawasaki fans, the 2023 jet ski lineup returns without any significant updates.

Besides some minor cosmetic and color changes, all 2022 Jet Skis were carried over from 2022 basically unchanged, and the Ultra LX was eliminated.

This means the Japanese manufacturer doesn’t offer any full-size non-supercharged jet skis in its 2023 lineup.

But if you are interested in this segment don’t worry, as there are rumors that the Ultra LX will make a comeback for next season!
